Sponsoring Kids to Play Soccer

AYSO is a non-profit organization (tax ID# 95-6205398) totally run by volunteers. Each year the local Board of Directors looks at the fixed and variable costs to run the programs and the targets for projects like field maintenance in order to create an overall expense budget. Then an estimate is generated for how many kids are expected to register for the season (typically over 2000), and a cost-per-child registration fee is calculated.

The goal is always to offer the lowest registration fee that will still allow the budget to balance.

Every year, however, there are families in Aliso Viejo with children who would love to play soccer but who just cannot afford the fees. Helping with these situations is the objective of our Sponsorship Program.

Local Sponsors Supporting Local Kids
As a sponsor of AYSO Region 889, 100% of your donations go into the scholarship fund that enables the children of financially-challenged local families to play soccer.

In return, we offer you our most sincere thanks and recognition if you choose.

• For ANY donation, we will list your name (and company name if appropriate) on our website for the season
• For TEAM LEVEL sponsorships of $250 or more, we will put your company logo and short description on our website, and you will receive a recognition plaque with a team photo
• For BANNER LEVEL sponsorships of $500  or more, you receive the website listing and the plaque as in the Team Level sponsorship PLUS we will place a "skyscraper" banner advertisement on our website that will be displayed every time someone visits.

Other Opportunities
In years past, we have also had companies provide sponsorships in return for the placement of their logo on team banners and other materials. If you have a creative idea that is consistent with the philosophies of AYSO, we would always be interested to hear it.
